Legal Aid
If you require legal advice, there are you can contact the Leidse Rechtswinkel, or the “Juridisch Loket”. The Juridish Loket is a not-for profit providing free legal advice to people below “an income and wealth cap”. The Leidse Rechtswinkel work on worker’s rights, tax law, consumer rights, immigration law, family law, criminal law and housing. There’s also the Leiden or The Hague departments of “Het Juridisch Loket”, who work on housing, work, family, police & justice, consumer rights and debt law.
If you can’t find help from these institutions, you can find an appropriate lawyer at with the Dutch order of lawyers. You can also always ask the LSVb for help on the student hotline, this is not strictly for legal help but you can always ask.
